House & Senate aren’t adjourned. They will be holding pro forma sessions starting Monday, so they are technically still in session.
They cannot allow Trump to chose his own cabinet members using recess appointments. That POS mcconnell has never put the senate in recess since Trump has been POTUS.

and I'm not sure why...though most think that McConnell doesn't want POTUS to make recess appointments.
I have no idea why both need to hold pro forma sessions.
