Once this session ends, and many are out on their sorry @$$....being the RATs that they are, most of whom have a long history of unprosecuted criminal activity and political crimes...they may be wondering nervously just what might be in store under a Trump DOJ, run by law-and-order Republicans, and real kick-ass judges.

Maybe what is going on is the Pelosi is holding on to this Impeachment bill so she can then have Pence brought up on Impeachment charges as well. Schiff said that now has evidence that Pence did something wrong.
Impeach Pence, forward the Pence impeachment to the Senate, convict and remove Pence. Trump attempts to name a new Vice-President, but it is voted down.
Now send Trump Impeachment to the Senate while there is a vacancy for the Vice-President. Convict and remove.
Voila !! (walla) The botox queen Pelosi rises to the Presidency.
Re: Clinton, the original move for witnesses was tabled, only later were limited transcripts excerpted from video testimony allowed, and then a short video from Lewinsky was played.
This was merely relitigating the relevant portions of the Starr Report that had been introduced in the House Impeachment portion: "On January 12, 1998, Linda Tripp, who had been working with Jones's lawyers, informed Starr that Lewinsky was preparing to commit perjury in the Jones case and had asked Tripp to do the same. She also said Clinton's friend Vernon Jordan was assisting Lewinsky."
No new witnesses were introduced in the Senate Trial, and in fact no live witnesses were ever called:
"On the following day, Representative Bryant moved to call witnesses to the trial, a question the Senate had scrupulously avoided to that point.In both cases, the Senate voted to deliberate on the question in private session, rather than public, televised procedure.
On January 27, the Senate voted on both motions in public session; the motion to dismiss failed on a nearly party line vote of 56–44, while the motion to depose witnesses passed by the same margin."
Over three days, February 1–3, House managers took videotaped closed-door depositions from Monica Lewinsky, Clinton's friend Vernon Jordan, and White House aide Sidney Blumenthal. The videos were played in the Senate on February 6, featuring 30 excerpts of Lewinsky discussing her affidavit in the Paula Jones case, the hiding of small gifts Clinton had given her, and his involvement in procurement of a job for Lewinsky.

Not much has been done to stop the demon rats cheating the votes in targeted areas, so the withholding of impeachment articles may just be holding the fraud until the demon rats cheat out a few senate seats like they did House seats, and then send the fraudulent articles to a demon rat controlled senate for passing. The depth of evil of the demon rats party has not been delved yet. They worship the rites of slaughtering alive, sensing unborn human beings, so nothing is too evil for them to contemplate and exploit.
