I am intimately familiar with the “armed standoff in Priest River, Idaho”.
It involved a US Veteran (one of my former patients) who had a stroke (public knowledge) and needed some help getting his financial affairs in order after he was released from a rehab hospital. This fellow is a nice guy and certainly no threat to himself or anyone else.
The VA in its infinite wisdom decided that since he had had a stroke and needed help with his financial affairs he should not have any firearms at home and sent their busybodies to confiscate them. Imagine their surprise when they were met by over 100 citizens including fellow veterans, our local state Rep Heather Scott, Washington Rep Maee Shea from nearby Spokane Valley, and the Bonner County Sheriff.
The VA apparatchiks were politely informed that no firearms were going to be confiscated from this veteran and promptly high-tailed it back to the Spokane VA hospital. Score one for the good guys for a change.
The report that was commissioned by the RINO’s in the Washington State Legislature was performed by the Rampart Group out of Silverdale, WA. They reviewed multiple online press reports and compiled them into their 108 page hit piece. They allegedly interviewed several people but refuse to name them. Rampart Group CEO is a retired female FBI agent. We all know how honest and pure FBI agents are, don’t we?
Ruby Ridge happened in 1992 in North Idaho. FBI agents murdered several Idaho Citizens illegally during that situation. No one here is going to forget or forgive that. Then came the Branch Davidians and Lavoy Finnicum. The FBI are the REAL domestic terrorists.
