...a 157-page feasibility study released Monday in Cleveland by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies Inc."Hyperloop" IS the Elon Musk concept.
He also created and owns most of "The Boring Company." Wiki -->
"In early 2018, the Boring Company was spun out from SpaceX and into a separate corporate entity. Somewhat less than 10% of equity was given to early employees, and over 90% to Elon Musk. Subsequent concerns by SpaceX shareholders resulted in a December 2018 reallocation of 6% of the Boring Company's equity to SpaceX."
Although the concept of the Hyperloop was popularized by Elon Musk, he is not affiliated with HTT. They are totally separate companies, and Musk has nothing to do with HTT Inc. HTT has a different methodology of building the hyperloop and it is going to be an expensive boondoggle.
Which is fair, considering that Musk poured all his fortune into SpaceX and Tesla to keep them afloat (dividing all his money between the two companies). The Boring Company uses technology from all the companies Musk runs, and those companies stand to profit greatly from The Boring Company. Estimates have been given that The Boring Company will be worth far more than Tesla and SpaceX in the near future.
