If Trump is “impeached” in the public’s view, what else matters. It’s all just a show for the Dems and the media.
Yeah, imo by my reading of the Constitution he is “impeached”. And I think the public largely views it that way too, the arguments about filing the articles / process notwithstanding - those are not Constitutional questions but process and law questions.
It is a very sad charade indeed. McConnell seems to have a good read on it. I am not criticizing him. My opinion is simply I’ve had enough, I’ve had it up to here. The Democrats have been on full auto assault against Trump since the spring of 2016, using every tool in the arsenal including the CIA, FBI, State Department, Special Counsel, the “immigration cages” that Obama built, even spies and plants inside the White House and Trump campaigns, and now this Ukraine Hoax and impeachment. Nobody has paid a price for it.
Time to take the gloves off.
