Thanks!
Was looking over plastic models the other day. Sad absence of space rockets. Not a thing anymore for boys.
I had the big Gemini, Saturn V and LEM models as a kid. Wish I still had them. Got a 5 tall imprinted cardboard Gemini capsule with control panel (used one D cell) and helmet, best Christmas present I ever got!
I had a Saturn V model that had a Lunar Module in it that I remember taking to Show and Tell in something like third grade.
Is that you?!
The final pre-launch weather briefing indicates all parameters are currently “go” for launch and expected to remain so.
No. Could have been, right age and look :)
Polling sequence all go for launch.
T+plus 7 minutes, 30 seconds. The Centaur upper stage is continuing to operate as expected.
I was fortunate to see a pre-dawn Shuttle launch years ago. Awesome sight!
One of my regrets not seeing one of those.
I bet it looked great from the east coast this morning. Great shots on the feed.
SpaceX sure has Boeing beat on launch coverage, live video from the vehicle, etc.
And the Boeing control room looks to need ~2.5X the number of people SpaceX does!
Im not a huge Elon Musk fan, but Im even less of a arthritic old-school wasteful government contractor fan....
T+plus 12 minutes. MECO confirmed. The dual RL10A-4-2 engines on the Centaur stage have shut down as expected. Starliner has separated.
I feel the same.
