I think it’s pretty clear that Trump felt hurt too. That IS possible. He probably felt like they had a connection, a moment when her husband passed and then she decides to say he’s an existential threat and a traitor to the country. That’s how I read the situation. In any event, he also said, Let’s assume he’s looking down. Trump being Trump and I respect that he’s not a phony like the rest of them.
