(1) They trust the media because they are Democrats, or

(2) They are Democrats because they trust the media?

Well, I’m not sure about Democrats, but among conservatives, those who distrust the media are the people who put DJT in office. We don’t distrust the media because of Donald Trump at all. He is part of our solution to their dishonesty. They have been slandering and demonizing us for the better part of 2 decades. They won’t fix themselves.

The dems should rename their party The Media Party. Contrary to most, I believe that the dems take their marching orders from their media puppetmaster, and not the other way around.

Agree. Trump supporters (many or most) are those who have seen behind the media curtain and have been waiting for someone who would fight back and refuse to play the media's games by the media's rules.

Democrats (many or most [of those who are not actually part of the machine]) are those who trust the media and believe the world is as the media claims/portrays.
