The fate of Yuri himself has always been a mystery.

Just now heard of him. 53 years old is a bit young to die of a massive heart attack.....

Not too long ago I watched a Youtube interview of a guy who was an ex-Russian spy sent to the U.S. He detailed how he was recruited from his Russian university then years of training before he was finally sent to the U.S. in his early 30's to begin his work. Party of the training was learning how to speak perfect English and his teacher was an American who had moved to Russia.

To get to the U.S., I think he said he flew thru 4 or 5 different countries, living there briefly and being provided with a different identity and passport for each country. This was to make it impossible for anyone to track his footsteps back to Russia.........

The interview was in connection with a book he had written about his life.
