If Gohmert actually said “in 2008 Ukraine invaded Georgia”, his next line, “Bush put sanctions on HIM to teach HIM a lesson” does not fit. It’s obvious that Gohmert either said or meant to say “Putin”, not Ukraine, invaded Georgia. That’s the verbal equivalent of a typo, not spewing Russian propaganda. Plus, the Russians proudly admit they invaded Georgia (even if their excuse for doing it is bilge).
