I only wish the sleeping giant metaphor is real, but I have no faith in a lot of the American people. Some sizeable percentage will vote Dem no matter what. Another percentage might call themselves Republicans, but they tend to stay home too often on election day. And then there’s the mushy middle that swings whichever way the wind blows on any given day. There are the illegals and other non-citizens who are encouraged to vote or to give their consent to “vote harvesters.” There are the massive teachers and government workers unions who always put their small interests ahead of the country’s interests.
Not to mention dead men and women voting Democrat more than once!
I have heard that live ones also multiple vote! For Democrats!
Voting in two states is popular in Democrat circles!
And, Democrat vote counters cheat the tally in favor of Democrats, naturally!
And, Republican votes get “lost.”
And, there is the Democrat absentee vote scam.
And, the “vote harvesting” scam.
And, how can more people vote in a district than are registered to vote in that district? (2016: Philly, Palm Beach, etc., etc.)
There are probably more ways that Democrats cheat I haven’t heard of or thought about.
