I remember as a kid travelling from Manhattan with my family to our home on Long Island.

The curve in the elevated highway in Queens ran past a Silver Cup bread factory. It was summer, so we had our windows open on the car. The outside air smelled like a freshly baked loaf of bread. It was great.
