Lisa Page Complains to Rachel Maddow: 'This Is Not How Public Servants Should Be Treated'
PJ Media ^ | 17 Dec 2019 | Nicholas Ballasy

Former FBI Lawyer Lisa Page said the "insurance policy" text message former FBI agent Peter Strzok sent her referred to the investigative steps the FBI was considering as part of the Russia probe during the course of the presidential election.

"We're using an analogy. We're talking about whether or not we should take certain investigative steps or not based on the likelihood that he's going to be president or not, right? You have to keep in mind if President Trump doesn't become president the national security risk if there is somebody in his campaign associated with Russia plummets," Page said on Tuesday night during an MSNBC interview.

"You're not so worried about what Russia is doing vis-à-vis a member of his campaign if he’s not president because you’re not going to have access to classified information, you’re not going to have access to sources and methods in our national security apparatus,” she added.

Page continued, "So, the 'insurance policy' was an analogy. It's like an insurance policy when you're 40. You don't expect to die when you're 40, yet you still have an insurance policy."

Lisa Page CYA's the infamous insurance policy to Rachel Maddow: "So, the 'insurance policy' was an analogy.
....like an insurance policy when you're 40. You don't expect to die, yet you still have an insurance policy."

===========================================

Here's What Lisa Page Had to Say About That FBI 'Insurance Policy' Circa March 2019
Townhall.com ^ | March 13, 2019 | Katie Pavlich / FR Posted by Kaslin

Former FBI attorney Lisa Page, who conspired with fired FBI agent Peter Strzok to stop Donald Trump if he won the presidency, testified in front of a closed door session on Capitol Hill last year. Now her testimony has been released, showing the extent to which the duo was willing to go with their efforts. It reveals the "insurance policy" discussed in text messages was likely Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation.

"If he is not elected, then, to the extent that the Russians were colluding with members of his team, we're still going to investigate that even without him being President, because any time the Russians do anything with a U.S. person, we care, and it's very serious to us," Page said about her thinking under questioning from former Congressman Trey Gowdy.

"But if he becomes President, that totally changes the game because now he is President of the United States. He's going to immediately start receiving classified briefings. He's going to be exposed to the most sensitive secrets imaginable. And if there is somebody on his team who wittingly or unwittingly is working with the Russians, that is super serious."

Text messages found between Page and Strzok, with whom she was having an affair, discuss a meeting in fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe's office to go over an "insurance policy." A number of other messages showed Strzok and Page repeatedly slamming Trump and his supporters while favoring the election of Hillary Clinton. Further, her testimony reveals there was no evidence of collusion at the time the Special Counsel investigation was launched in May 2017. Nearly two years later, there is still no evidence.

The newly released transcripts of my interview with Lisa Page indicate that Peter Strzok had no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia prior to the launch of the FBI and special counsel investigations into the matter. pic.twitter.com/Mt8SChdocI— John Ratcliffe (@RepRatcliffe) March 13, 2019

As a reminder, the Department of Justice Inspector General found the anti-Trump messages exchanged between Page and Strzok to be deeply troubling. From a report released in August 2018: "During the course of the review, the OIG discovered text messages and instant messages between some FBI employees on the investigative team, conducted using FBI mobile devices and computers, that expressed statements of hostility toward then candidate Donald Trump and statements of support for then candidate Clinton," the report states. "We were deeply troubled by text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations."

"Most of the text messages raising such questions pertained to the Russia investigation, which was not a part of this review. Nonetheless, when one senior FBI official, Strzok, who was helping to lead the Russia investigation at the time, conveys in a text message to another senior FBI official, Page, 'No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it' in response to her question '[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!'......

........ " it is not only indicative of the FBI's biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects. This is antithetical to the core values of the FBI and the Department of Justice," the report continues.

Traitors should be charged, tried and then hanged upon conviction.

— yup

We will need "people's courts" to accomplish that. The established government courts have failed repeatedly to deal with them.

There is a reason why members of the civil service are supposed to be politically neutral when they are going about the people’s business. Any member of the public deserves to expect to be treated in a way that is untainted by political bias. Political appointees are not members of the civil service, they do not obtain their positions according to test scores and resumes, they get their positions by political favor. No idea of which category Page fell into but one thing I do know is that people who draw a paycheck from the public have no business treating large chunks of that public like untouchables.

She made herself political on the job. People who do their jobs in an unbiased way and who are targeted for refusing to sacrifice the public’s interests for political interests deserve support. She was clearly not that sort of a person. She clearly bore animosity toward a large chunk of the public.

FBI’s Lisa Page to Peter Strzok: ‘I Truly Hate’ Pro-Lifers
Strzok to Page: “F*cking marchers making traffic problems.”

BREITBART.COM Text messages released between disgraced FBI attorney Lisa Page and agent Peter Strzok, show Page saying,
“I truly hate” pro-lifers and the two discussing shutting down the 2016 March for Life on the national mall.

‘I truly hate these people’: Disgraced FBI agents trashed pro-lifers, wanted to stop March for Life FBI agent Strzok said authorities should lie about a 'snow emergency' so as to 'cancel the permit' for the March for Life. As LifeSiteNews reports, a transcript of the conversation on January 22, 2016 – the day of the March for Life – reveals the conversation between the two:

Strzok: “F*cking marchers making traffic problems.” Page: “Yeah, some extremely offensive video screens set up in front of district. I truly hate these people. No support for the woman who actually has to spend the rest of her life rearing this child, but we care about ‘life.’ Assholes.”

Strzok: “And literally I’m the last car thru 4 lights as they shut down Pennsylvania Ave. Hey, I have an idea! Snow emergency, cancel the permit.”

Page and Strzok – both married to other people – were reportedly carrying on an affair. “It’s not surprising that these people would hate pro-lifers so much that they would want to abuse their authority to cancel the March for Life,” Operation Rescue President Tony Newman told LifeSiteNews. “Given their extreme political bias against those who hold pro-life views, one can only expect them to stoop to criminal conduct.”

As Breitbart News reported, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said the latest batch of text messages between Page and Strzok, who were involved in the investigations into allegations President Donald Trump aided Russian “collusion” in his election and Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, reveal FBI views of Trump were more than just biased, they actually show “animus” toward the president. ==================================

Keep in mind, the two FBI birds hatred for pro-lifers.....let's not forget......they were working closely with the abortion-worshipping Halfrican.

In one hacked email, vagina-ready Page emailed that "Obama want to know everything we're doing."

2004 BACKSTORY In February 2004, then-US Senate candidate Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, sent a fund-raising letter with the "alarming news" that "right-wing politicians" had passed a law stopping doctors from performing p/b abortions (stabbing half-born babies in the neck with scissors, suctioning out their brains and crushing their skulls).

Michelle Obama considers partial-birth abortion "a legitimate medical procedure," and asked supporters for $150 to attend a luncheon for her candidate husband, b/c he would fight against "cynical ploys" to stop p/b bortions.

(NOTE: nurses at an Illinois hospital in 1999 discovered babies were being aborted alive and placed on shelves in soiled utility rooms to die unattended.)

From the evidence already in display, these people have been convicted and must be punished. They should be glad they live in a country that has Donald Trump for President instead of some place like Libya, or heck, Czechoslovakia, maybe even Italy. People who abuse their power often don’t fare so well in other parts of the world.

Its time for TERM LIMITS

NOT on elected officials, but on unelected bureaucrats and the immortal programs and funding that support them.

I've called for term limits for the elected for the last 25 years or so (part one of my tagline). Recently I added to that the suggestion that bureaucrats not exceed a specified time in any department, so they can not create their little fiefdoms. Keep moving them around.

Mueller was tasked to cover-up massive crimes by Hillary, the DNC, and Obama and his factotums. Obama created a police state.

The US Intel Apparat was commandeered in the spying operation. US intel apparat is there to protect the safety and security of Americans----it is not a political tool.

Obama and his team used extraordinary underhanded Third World methods to spy on candidate Trump ....and were fixated on preventing his election.

The game plan changed when Trump was elected. They had to oust Trump using any means possible....real or invented.

Explains the goofy, OMG! look on the Halfrican's face when he met Pres-elect Trump.

The dirt Hillary was supposed to sweep under the carpet is now in the hands of the man they tried to destroy.

i do think that Comey and company targeted Hillary to destroy her candidacy and then turned and targeted Trump. That indicates to me that in addition to being guilty of insubordination against both AG Lynch and Sessions, these people attempted to cause a constitutional crisis that would leave us either leaderless or else cause the Obama administration to be brought back in power. Either option would have put us in uncharted territory.

If Comey and co. try to get rid of both major party candidates, one before and one after the election, then the will of the people is not what these guys are interested in. BOTH parties were targeted, but the Democrats are too stupid or arrogant to understand that these new “friends” of theirs will turn on a dime to destroy them too. This is a coup. The members of this cadre don’t want anyone in power but themselves.

I guess Lisa's main talent was servicing a "public servant". Somebody should get her under oath and ask her exactly what she meant by "POTUS wants to know everything we're doing".

It'll be fun...and instructive...to watch her take the 5th several dozen times.
