I was an Assistant Scout Master and my son had gone from Tigers through 1st class. And then the Scouts abandoned their oath (duty to God) and allowed openly homosexual scouts to participate.
As a Deacon in my church, that put me in the position of choosing to remain faithful to my calling from God, or remain with the Scouts. I resigned via a public letter to the adult leadership of the troop. I explained why I could no longer participate and would no longer be available for any scouting activities. Most leaders remained silent and just accepted the resignation letter however, a few others felt they had to respond. I just let it go.
I will no longer support either the Boy Scouts or the Girl Scouts.
This is the damage the Left is causing. Ruining once respected institutions that helped our citizens.
