Retired judge Bill Webster, the only person to serve as director of both the FBI and the CIA, is blasting President Trump's ongoing criticism of the FBI, calling it "un-American."
In a Tuesday interview with MSNBCs Andrea Mitchell, Webster said Trumps description of the bureau as a broken system was not true and could adversely affect the confidence the American people have in one of the most important agencies in government.
I hate to use that term, I was shocked to hear him use its so inappropriate, said Webster when asked about Trumps description of FBI personnel as scum at a recent Pennsylvania rally.
This kind of talk, people think well, they must know what theyre talking about, but they dont. Take the FBI for a moment. I dont know of any organization I have worked with that tries harder to do the right thing in the right way, he said.

I Agree!
Needed Repeating,

Bill Webster ... is either lying and covering for FIB or he’s seriously deluded.
I think the Chief FISA Court judge disagrees with him based on her released statement today.
Yeah, and I wonder how many other cases of the FBI are suspect - how many other people have been railroaded.
He looked so young I shaved 3 years off his age.
Apparent collusion with terror attacks. They sure seem to “coincide” with their drills, and a whole lotta the bad guys were either on their “radar” or flat out employees.
I am quite certain they are indeed competent. Competent and TREASONOUS!
The concept of a crooked secret federal police is as UnAmerican as it gets. FU Webster.
Webster was a well-meaning FOOL and continues in that role today. He could have strengthened the FBI and CIA after the Democrats emasculated them during the Church hearings of the 1970’s, but all he did was put a bandage on a badly crippled organization, and we paid for that on 9/11.
What’s un-American is the lead law enforcement agency being corrupt and trampling all over the rights of the People....
