He should have consulted with me. Direct and clear work. Rambling, repetitive and angry make you sound unhinged.

It's stream of consciousness. You can 'hear' Trump's voice. As a formal letter from the POTUS to the House Speaker it doesn't work but that's not why he did it.

He says WHY he did it. He wants his feelings known for history.

This is a powerful letter and anything an elite editor or writer would add would merely weaken the message. It is pure Trump.
