Trump lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani says he’s uncovered proof of “extensive” corruption in Ukraine, including “clear” proof of money laundering by Burisma energy company and Hunter and Joseph R. Biden.
In a series of tweets, Mr. Giuliani said his trip earlier this month to Ukraine “garnered witnesses & documents which reveal the truth behind this impeachment,” which he said includes no wrongdoing by President Trump.
“Evidence revealed that corruption in 2016 was so extensive it was POTUS’s DUTY to ask for US-Ukraine investigation,” Mr. Giuliani tweeted, days before the House prepares to vote on impeaching the president. He said impeachment is part of a Democratic “cover up” of what he found in “hundreds of hours” and months of research.

The problem with Barr doing anything is Democrats will claim Trump ordered it.
It’s better if the Senate looks at it, and then sends a criminal referral to Barr.
In fact, rather than just one or two senators sending a referral to Barr, I would like to see the entire Senate vote on a resolution to send a criminal referral to Barr.
Then they can’t blame the President, and Barr pretty much HAS to look at it, or explain why not.
Won’t happen then.
The GOP is dirty too.
If so, why doesn’t Rudy turn all the evidence over to AG Barr instead of making more of a circus of this than it already is. Some of us tire of all the talk and promises that crooked Dems are going to jail. It never happens. Republicans look weak and stupid.
If it’s quid pro quo, to indict you must go!

Probably the real reason is if Biden gets the nomination, then the REAL investigations into his corruption start and that will implicate Obama. Obama wants to save his own miserable hide, so he doesn’t want Biden to be nominated. Ergo, he won’t endorse Biden.
How do you know if he has or has not turned over the information to Barr? Just politely asking....
The allegations have been out there since Peter Schweizer (sp?) wrote his last book (Empires) just as the allegations against the Clinton Foundation were out there since he wrote Clinton Cash. Few in the media or DOJ seem interested in it and it is pretty obvious that the State Dept is knee-deep in it from start to finish along with the real CEO of foggy bottom - Soros.
There are some news outlets that are beginning to mention the story so all we can do is sit back, pop popcorn, and watch. It will either be like the corruption surrounding the Clinton’s or something may actually happen. What do we have to lose? The fact that they are viciously attacking Rudy tells you he is on to something... it’s their playbook.
Note the recent comments from Trump regarding Rudy. They were quite supportive and Trump clearly believes in him and whatever he has uncovered.
The impeachment hearing is not necessarily the right place to flesh this out beyond showing there was a credible allegation of corruption involving the US government.
It is outside the scope of what Durham is doing and he has enough on his plate.
We will have to wait and see how Barr wants to address it and he has yet to comment on it based on what I have seen. I would not be surprised to see a special counsel appointed and I would not be surprised to see nothing happen because there are lots of hands in the cookie jar of Ukraine including many republicrats.
What we do not want to happen is for this to go to the State Dept IG.
My hope is that each of them is found out and punished severely regardless of party.

Otherwise, it would "bated".
Media polishing schools have got to come up with new ways to present "teasers".
They should look into the guy that came up with the Engergizer Bunny for breaking through the same-old, same-old presentation bait.
Maybe that is why they (the deep state, whistleblower, Shiff, Pelosi...) were so panicked when Guiliani started poking around in Ukraine (on behalf of Trump). He was or is close. Wonder how many Democrats (and Republicans) would be implicated if dirt is discovered? Sounds like all of the major reps in the House and possibly Senate. That would be a major upset if half of Congress had to resign.

Agreed. The IRS should not be weaponized. Period. Humper’s baby mama is suing for child support and wants his income from Barisma included in their discovery. We’ll find out enough about that soon. The tape where ol’ Joe is bragging about his quid pro quo with Ukraine and his implication of Obama in the same breath is incriminating.
Better yet, imagine a nickel for every time nothing happened to the swamp?
Rudy’s work actually goes beyond just the Bidens...others will be reveiled.

I am definitely with you on this. I guess I’m just feeling frustration with sources reporting things like this, giving us all hope that justice will finally be served only to have us fall into that big, deep disappointment hole.
