I’ve *never* heard this claim before. Do they realize how much water we’re talking about? Have they disclosed how they’re measuring this? This should be easily repeatable - and by people without a PhD.
Sea level is measured by “estimates” from gauges.
You see, just like temperature data, sea level data needs to be “adjusted” by certain people and then you know what is the actual sea level change.
Do some searches and you will find clear manipulation of the raw sea level and temperature data (which both show no significant rise or fall) versus the “adjusted” data that always seems to support climate change.
Sounds like the Russia Collusion investigation....the data showed the Trump Campaign was innocent, but the “adjustment” of the data kept the FISA renewals coming in every 90 days.
No. Actual, measured global average sea level rise REMAINS STEADY at 2.2 to 2.3 mm per year, less than 1 inch decade, less than 10 inches per century. About 1 meter in 400 years.
Gonna give Trump one here: The numbers he remembered are low. Probably thinking the 1/8 per year as 1/8 per century. Or, more likely, he used the 1/8 per year instead of 8 per century.
