What about the limited heartbeat and limited breath theories of longevity?....do you really want to “waste” them running

A former boss didn't smoke and jogged and ran extensively. He was probably the same weight as when he was in college. Went in for minor surgery and the post op nurse called a "code blue" on him because his pulse was 38. Finally, his wife told the nurse that was normal for him.

Last year I learned he died at the age of 78. Couldn't believe someone in that fine physical condition didn't make it past 80. Well, who knows what will kill you?
