There’s not a chance in Hell that 20 GOP Senate members cross over to be part of the Democrats coup. There is no evidence, there never was.
The Democrats know they will lose in the Senate. One of their members gave away the key tactic they are hoping for.
That tactic is they want an 8-month trial. It should be obvious why.
They think they can cast a cloud over the President long enough to defeat him in November 2020.

This is nothing more than constructed political fantasy. The left is running out of ground with Trump and dreaming up anything to try and make it sound like he will be removed.
As stated by the Senate leader two days ago, there is no possibility that Trump will be removed from office. They have no case against him that actually includes a crime.
This is still an impeachment that is looking for a crime.
