What's better: a loogie in your coffee or no service.

How many times does this have to happen at Starbucks until the cops learn not to go there?

“Pig” on the receipt is one thing but how many times have their food been spit on or worse? Cops should be carrying their own thermoses.

This is happening all-too-frequently at this chain. It appears low-level employees are hearing dog-whistles from management indicating this is acceptable behavior.

Perhaps it is time for this business to go the way of Sambo’s restaurants.

Starbucks should serve every officer and make the officers pay for the coffee. Voilla! No cops. These youngsters have to learn how to think. lol

Will all of the Starbucks stores close for a day of mandatory sensitivity training they way they were after the 2 loiterers in Philly were told that the bathrooms were for customers only? Probably not. Doesn’t fit the narrative so there are no “woke points” to be gained by doing so. F**k starbucks.

Starbucks has lousy coffee, and the food there isn’t any better.

True that.

Anyway, an ersatz apology from Starbucks is fish wrap anyway. If it mattered to the company, employees would be read the riot act about this stuff in their initial job orientation.

Starbucks is fully aware they are hiring people capable of doing this and likely want it to happen. They'll "apologize" and it will all go away in a week. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

I don’t understand; Starbucks policy in California is to refuse service to anyone known to be armed. There is no exception in that policy for uniformed guards or law enforcement.

What are they apologizing for? Their employees followed written policy.

I miss the Sambo's in the Wilshire District in Los Angeles. The service there was excellent. No matter how crowded the restaurant was, if you ordered coffee, it would be impossible to drain your cup because as it emptied out, a waitress would be there to give you a refill.

The original Sambo's in Santa Barbara is, from what I hear, still in business.
