Nothing GOP lawmakers in Frankfort can do about it. The pardoning power is absolute.

They could impeach Bevin over it but it belongs to the museum of lost causes: he’s leaving office anyway.

And he can tell his self-righteous critics to shove it. You don’t have Bevin to kick around anymore.

...long as the proper process was followed. IIRC, in many States (this being one?), they have to petition the gov. for their pardon.

Was this just a blanket pardon (some shill hands him a list & ‘presto’...done)? or were those done on the up-n-up & only have a *real* SUCKY POS ex-gov?
