Nice to see Brad kicking some hippie butt...And Bruce Lee's too.
A very good flick. Leo’s character is the pretend TV cowboy, Brad Pitt is the real life cowboy. The film is filled with what is now called toxic masculinity, and makes not apologies for it.
BTW, Sharon Tate’s sister said “I got to see my sister again”, and that Margot Robbie was perfect in the role.
Pitt is the Clark Gable of our time.
And now Hollywood introduces the question, “Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Republican Party?”
It’s crap.
Tarantino???
Tarantino???
My mother did summer stock with Sylva Sidney.
It was terrific. What was your objection?
“One reviewer objected to the blatant sexuality of girl hitchhiking and promising a bj for a free ride. It was never that bad.
I lived there at the time and it
WAS that bad.”
````````````````````````````````````
Gas, Ass or Grass. Nobody rides for free.
It’s not just a cute rhyme.
DiCraprio is usually pretty good playing other people and reciting lines that were written for him by adults (sic). It's when he plays himself and talks without a pre-written script that he veers off into Meathead land.
Plenty of charming scenes pasted together with no real story. Sluggish pacing.
However, I was very impressed by their inclusion of segments of “Seymore”. I was a teenager living in SoCal at the time and you don’t get any more L.A. than him.
In a perfect world . . .
It was a great movie! Yes, I agree about Brad Pitt...he really can act! And Leonard di Caprio was also excellent.
Well, you gotta admit - he looked pretty good, too. The scene when he was on Dalton’s roof fixing the antenna was “quite nice”, if I do say so, myself.
I loved it
My Hollywood pals loved it
Weve dissected it on the phone repeatedly
I told them if you lived the Tate murders like I did as a rising 8th grader its more meaningful
When Margot Robbie voice as Sharon speaks through the intercom
It made me misty eyed I cannot lie
Her sweet voice
If only
Brad Pitt was made for that role
You have to love Los Angeles ....and I do
Well it helps if you do
I was there five months ago time to start looking for an excuse to go out for business again
My partners are like you really dont have to be here but we like having you
Im not a Quentin fan much but I did like this one
As life would have it Im listening to the Doors while freeping late
Hedy
Exactly
Wasnt Sharons voice through the intercom so ethereal
He had to have done that with that intent
Genius
Im telling you
My teen sons were like wow ..dad is wiping his eyes
Yes the Pit bull was the hero ....
And the Italian actress tickled me to death
