I don’t think it’s because he doesn’t have the votes. I believe this is a done deal. They want a fresh audience and an opportunity to spin the UK vote to say it won’t happen here. When you climb on a train that’s going to the end of the line you can’t get off. Even if the bridge is out.

Yup. That's pretty much what Doug Collins said. Collins was *livid* when Nadler pulled this "bush-league" stunt at about 11:17 pm ET.
I think they saw what happens when your Party gets taken over by “Woke-ists”, as happened with The Labour Party in the UK.
