The monkey-pig hybrid is currently polling third for the Democratic Presidential nomination.
I’m a big fan of leaving animals they way they were born.
But you are entirely correct. Running third, soon to be second....and tomorrow the world.
Monkey-pig does what a monkey-pig does!
Funny as hell.
wait wait I thought that was man bear pig?
Dryer Lint has a really fine record. I might vote for him. Her.
I would like to see a turkey with 4 drumsticks.
super seriously
Subhuman test subjects, just as they treat fetal humans.
“Hai suggested they died due to complications with the in vitro fertilization process because the purebred pigs didnt survive, either.”
Experiment didn’t even work. Results are meaningless.
Dinosaur DNA, although it has been recovered just like in the movie, is so badly damaged by time that it can never be used for that purpose. It’s not just a matter of “filling in the gaps” using similar DNA, it would be like reconstructing a telephone book after shredding half the pages and burning the rest.
The article is fine but doesn’t really get at what the AIM is:
They want to put human cell epitopes onto pig cells.
Cells of our immune system are sort of like KEYS. Sometimes these keys bump into cells, which on their surfaces feature things similar to LOCKS:
Sloshing around, the keys ask the locks, Do I fit here..? Cuz if I do, then this cell is HUMAN, like me; self meets self. If instead there’s no match? Well then that stuff is NON human (a none-self reaction), and there’s an attack of the immune system against the invader, which is a good thing.
It’s an immune system defense.
So if you could put those “human locks” on pig cells? It’d be good cuz pig organs are highly similar to humans:
It would mean you could have herds of pigs (which 100% appear like unaltered pigs) grow up organs for donation to sick humans needing new organs
You wouldn’t have to wait for matching human donors and the Chinese would be out of biz.
See?
They’re not trying to change ANYTHING ELSE about pigs.
If we don’t do it here, I can guarantee they’ll do it in China (actually with a ton of really effed-up stuff, too).
The article didn’t make the research clear to outsiders.
Looking at the members of the Majority on the House Committees we’ve seen recently, it appears like they’ve been experimenting with this for some time
Dr. Moreau couldn’t have come up with freaks of nature like that
