These Courts, especially those with Democrat appointees, can not be objective, and should have no jurisdiction over a sitting President.
I’d argue that Trump stands to lose hotel business by virtue of his being president. Half the country won’t stay at his hotels. Play the tape of Pamela Karlan saying she crosses the street rather than walk by his hotel.
Using the liberal argument, Obama would need to give back the profits of his book, which clearly benefited from his presidency.
The 4th Circuit is probably (along with the 1st and the DC Circuit) the most radically left in the Country at the moment. The ONLY reason that these activists would have taken this en banc is to reverse the 3 judge panel.

I was going to check in to one of his hotels but the registry form was in Russian and they only accepted rubles for payment.

When I was in Vegas a while ago I stopped by the Trump Hotel for Breakfast.
They Valet all the Cars. The Kid parked my Car in front instead of in the underground Garage because of the “TRUMP 45” CA Vanity License Plates I had on it.

Trump was told early on that he HAD to accept his salary.
He donates it to charity every quarter.

That has historically been the understanding of the emoluments clause.
The only exception Trump represents is that unlike most past presidents he has many business interests that foreigners can pay for services, and have paid since long before Trump was ever president and will continue to do so long after Trump is no longer president.
Anyone who knows or understands Trump honestly knows he cares not a twit, as President, if any foreigner does or does not stay at his Hotel in Washington, D.C. The media and the Dims can make implied innuendos about the hotel, but they are counter to the reality. The Trump hotel has zero, zip, zilch to do with the Trump presidency, and vice versa.
Trump could have made it easier on himself and put many different assets of his in one or more blind Trusts, avoiding the inevitable innuendos the Dims and the media would throw out.
He chose to not do that. That did not make his decision “wrong”. It only meant he would have to accept that the Dims would throw out lies about it, and he’d even have to fight them to counter their lies.
Actually, not having smelly, trashy cheap lefties as customers - I’d think that would INCREASE profits, and the value of the hotel.
Maryland may have a beef (not really, but I’m in a charitable mood today), but those geniuses from DC charge 14.5% room tax so if anyone is making out on increased occupany at the Trump Hotel in DC, it’s Washington DC itself. What a bunch of doofuses!
