She latched onto environmentalism because it mirrors her general anxiety, gives her social approval and endorsement, and lecturing and imposing control on others makes her feel better. Please put “high intelligence” in quotes. She isn’t “high intelligence”.
The only people the Democrats can understand are children. There isn’t a high load of IQ anywhere in that party.
Even the intelligent can be indoctrinated. Dennis Prager had a list of things you needed at least a master’s degree in liberal arts to believe.
