I don’t see anything in the article (too tired to except?) that indicates Lighthizer (or Mnuchin) have backed out of negotiations. However, it does give Kushner credit for smoothing out things with Mexico when the USMCA negotiations got rocky. Maybe Kushner is good at that sort of thing.

It’s hard to tell exactly what Kushner does. He seems to be involved in a lot of stuff, particularly with assignments he gets in foreign relations. He’s as low key as it gets, but clearly he has the trust of the President. As far as I know, he hasn’t screwed anything up.

I see no reason to be concerned.

Lighthizer was the guy.

Number 1.

That is where he belongs.

The article doesn’t suggest Lighthizer still isn’t No. 1. Perhaps you’re jumping to conclusions.

Just heard Trump is meeting with advisors today to discuss trade negotiations with China. Bottom line is Trump has been and undoubtedly will continue be the one making final decisions.

Lighthizer is a gem. By far the best appointment of the Trump administration.

I am a big fan of Lighthizer.

Big. I would like to vote for him for President, in 2024.

He needs to be in charge, on this. For real.

Not Kushner. No. No. No.

Jared is the only thing that I’m critical of Trump. Jared gives me a creepy feeling. His marriage to Ivanka must have been arranged.

Most idiotic post so far today, but the day is young.

I wish you Free Traitors™ would leave the Republican Party, you are a teeny tiny minority of the electorate and a real turn off to patriots, nationalists and the general population. You give decent Republicans a bad name.

You are globalist and not a nationalist and therefore you cannot be a patriot. Globalism and Patriotism are 100% mutually exclusive.

If U represents the political universe and A represents GloBULLists and B represents Patriots then A and B are mutually exclusive. Venn Diagram:

Kushner never saw a middle class job he didn’t want to off shore or out source to a foreign national.
