The Black Hebrew Israelites have been labeled a hate group. The suspect wrote anti-Semitic and anti-police posts, an official said.
An assailant involved in the prolonged firefight in Jersey City, N.J., that left six people dead, including one police officer, was linked on Wednesday to the Black Hebrew Israelite movement, which has been designated a hate group, and had published anti-Semitic posts online, a law enforcement official said.
The violent rampage on Tuesday took place largely at a kosher supermarket where three bystanders were killed. The authorities now believe that the store was specifically targeted by the assailants.
The law enforcement official said the names of the two suspects were David Anderson and Francine Graham. Mr. Anderson appeared to have a connection to the Black Hebrew Israelite movement, though the extent of his involvement in that group remains unclear, the official said.
The Black Hebrew Israelites have no connection with mainstream Judaism. It has been described as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a legal advocacy group that tracks such movements.
Investigators also found a manifesto-style note inside the assailants’ van, the law enforcement official and another official familiar with the case said.
The document, which was described as brief and “rambling,” suggested no clear motive for the shooting. Investigators also found a live pipe bomb inside the vehicle, the law enforcement official said.

I’m confused, Black Israelites hate Jews?
I think the Black Israelites are the ones who are confused on second thought.
They act like Islamics.

They claim that the "White Jews" are false Jews, and that blacks (them) are the real Jews.
Whatever problems they may have, starvation doesn’t appear to be one of them.

This BS. Lived around the corner and have known about this group and how they rolled for decades. Now this Jersey City strain is way beyond anything for them. They can stand on a corner and talk crap for days. They can send their women and kids out to beg. They have all kinds of arrangements going on... but this, nah. I guess they would say the groups of HIB I know were ‘fake’, like they used to say about NOI vs. Sunni re: using Bible mixed with Islam back in the day.
That was the crazy group that harassed Sandman and his schoolmates!

Just tweeted one online prominent HI and he said there are two guys that have been getting out there re: protests and more hands on since Ferguson and Trump. He said one of the main guys came out of of the ether re: bonafides. In Queens, i’ve never seen a brand of HI like that. They’re busy telling you your religion is fake, don’t perm your hair to look like whites, confrontational in speech, but nothing else... not even throwing hands. In fact, after 9/11, a lot of them were going to Jackson Heights and other places they knew Islam was outside recruiting to challenge them heads on for at least a year. Be back with the names of the head guys that are pushing this brand, researching.
