The front gates (the ones I know of) are only manned half the time and when they are they barely glance at incoming vehicles. The dozens of other roads in are wide open for any Tom, Dick or Mohammad to wander through with anything. The gun free zones are nothing more than based on the honor system and the fear of what happens if you’re caught.
