Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is rushing the impeachment vote to the floor of the House before the Christmas recess to keep wavering Democrats in key battleground districts away from their constituents, the majority of whom are potentially uncomfortable with impeaching the president.
“House Democrats on Tuesday unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump over his contacts with Ukraine: Abuse of power and obstruction of Congress,” Breitbart News Network reported.

I think Graham’s chatter this afternoon will make her job a little bit more difficult. Would guess ten to fifteen Democrats are lined up to vote no on impeachment presently.

This is a question I have. How many Democrats in the house in vulnerable districts have the stomach to vote party line if they stand a good chance of being replaced for it next November?
Technically they may be screwed either way. Either risking the ire of their constituents or the Democrat party.
Anyone in a RED STATE. Who run in blue districts, where the big city is run by DEMS who out vote the smaller cities in the districts who are RED.
Too bad the idiots don’t realize nattering nan is willing to sacrifice them to retain her exalted position, as diminished as she has made it.
If you live in a district that easily carried Trump in 2016...the Trump-wave will occur and your replacement is absolute, and it won’t matter. If you live in a district that marginally (say 2 points) carried Trump in 2016....you might want to take the precaution and just tell Pelosi to cook up a bad-boy report only (censure). I would take a guess that a minimum of ten Democrats are in that position. She could afford to lose them. She couldn’t lose 25 though.
If you watch Graham at work today, he’s got a fair amount of drama, with absolute facts. It won’t help Nancy’s gameplan.

The RNC doesn’t need a trillion dollars, they only need to target democrats and flip the closer districts.
I will agree that the newness of impeachment will probably have worn off measurably by next November, but impeachment itself is a huge idea. The negativity and nastiness of it all will be easy to invoke, and a full blitz media campaign will make hay

Is she doesn’t get this before Christmas, she’ll lose and they will start a new impeachment inquiry on another accusation. This all started in December, 2016, before Trump was inaugurated. They are so angry about losing the election, that they vowed to do nothing and try to remove Trump. this is what we can expect from Democrats forever. I want them to vote yes. Pelousy has enough to get her majority anyway so I don’t want the Democrat representatives in Trump district to beg off. I want this to be a millstone to hang around their necks.
They keep the Speaker until January 2021 unless something extraordinary happens.
The “little people” to Queen Pelosi include the Congressional ones who must have noticed she looks down on them under her upraised eyebrows.
