Seemed to be Chinese; I believe their elected councilman had pulled strings to get them into the units.
The Catholic community left there long ago; the affiliated parish has been closed a long time (probably continuing to operate the school as a mission of sorts, primarily for non-Catholics). Tough place to start off for those people moving over from Brooklyn...
well, *some* of the British press
yes, this might well have been averted ... but the victims
lived in *** New Jersey ***
Another reason for the 2nd: one of the freebie
“newspapers” reported that NY LEOs and others (I
don’t have it with me) were called to the scene
Leaving us all here without them.
One of the freebie “newspapers” [ I don’t have it
with me, and can’t recall its name] didn’t include
the detail that the store attacked was a kosher one.
Indeed, the freebie “newspaper” cited [ for some value
of “cited”; a low one since I can’t recall its name]
did not report that the perpetrators were black.
“In Dearborn,MI a Muslim and an Orthodox Jew had their arms around each other’s shoulders, smiling in a story about a shortage of strictly Kosher meat for a holiday that was solved by the Muslim’s Halal meat as a replacement.”
I have kept kosher now for nearly 25 years. While I have heard of Muslims eating kosher food, I have never heard of a rabbi / kosher-keeping Jew approve of eating Halal.
Halal is not as strict as Kosher both in regards to slaughtering as well as mixtures of foods that are prohibited.

I think as a believer in astrology that the fact President Trump and were born within a few days of each other in May, 1946 means similar influences are causing people to doubt us, challenge us,demand precise evidence and so on. His on a huge scale, mine minor. The next post about something I heard on Catholic radio against Pelosi even asks for my source! I may have to go into a bomb shelter or get off FR.
Yours is hard to locate so far. I will have to keep looking. I didn’t make it up. Probably was 2015-2017 because I think I saw it before I retired. I remember the photo. I may have misremembered some fact. If so, sorry.
My late mother in law kept kosher but my wife and I do not. I wrote about some vaguely kosher food related things in my articles published in the Detroit Jewish News,Ann Arbor Observer and elsewhere but not on this topic. Will keep looking for my source.
Best.
Thanks for the clarification.
FRegards.
