Yoho is 64 and, with five years of service accrued, he gets to retire with a full pension. Why stay?

He gets an 8 year pension. It'll probably be around $23,500 a year, give or take.

"Full Pension"? See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_pension

There is a widespread myth that members of Congress and Senators receive their salaries FOR LIFE... In fact, they have a very good pension plan but, it is the same as countless federal employees.
