I’ll vote for the latter. If $hit does get real, there is going to be nothing civil about it. The left, progressives, socialists, etc.; will need a complete purging.
There will be a purging of the left and it would only take days and weeks to do so. They would try to bring in leftist from abroad to replace them. But they would be defeated so soundly it would be too late.
