MADRID - Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore urged governments negotiating at U.N. talks in Madrid this week to ramp up their efforts to tackle climate change, saying humanity's future was at stake.
"It is criminally negligent for the generation of leaders in power today to stick their heads in the sand and ignore what the scientists are telling us in ever more dire terms," he told the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
"We have to stop using the sky as an open sewer for heat-trapping pollution. It threatens the future of human civilisation," said Gore, who won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for his work to raise awareness on climate change.

Climate science? I haven’t seen any real science in that field in 20 years or more. It is virtually all just rehashing the same tired manipulations of data, abuse of computer models, and outright lies.
Al Gore, the “human money sewer” (Remember the Red Chinese money in the 1990’s elections, from California nuns and aliens?).
This man is the archetype of corruption from the Clinton White Whorehouse and Democratic Brothel. Only he screwed not only Americans but the whole world with his “climate change” “fund-me” campaign which has made him rich, fat, and more cunningly stupid.
If there is ever a whale that needs to be put on the “Endangered Feces List”, it is Al Gore, the imitation “Moby Dick” of the Democrats.
