2 Shooters Fire At Civilians, Police From Jersey City Rooftops

Yet another stunning active-shooter incident is unfolding Tuesday afternoon in New Jersey City, as two armed suspects fire on police officers using what appear to be sniper rifles as the shooters jump from rooftop to rooftop trying to escape, according to local media reports.

Loud gunshots can be heard in videos posted to social media. At the end of the video below, a man can be heard shouting “they took him out”, though more gunshots followed.

Not to speculate, but do drug dealers ordinarily carry "hundreds of bullets" with them? If not, most of those bullets must have come from elsewhere. And also not to speculate, but the chances that the perps would expend the rounds that they did have on 5 hostages must be less than 100%. The hostages would be useless to them when dead.

NJ does not have a death penalty. The worst that was going to happen to them -- if taken alive -- was life in prison.

This after "a cherished police officer" had just been murdered.

Amazing how the extra shooter several people see each incident, rushing away after shooting, never found, somehow disappears. Those David Copperfield Las Vegas stage magician shows couldn't have done better than the Deep State.

I am in the north NJ area and all of the media reports on this incident are still very vague outside of the number of casualties and a general description of the incident itself. Oh; and all of the media outlets are indicating that there is no evidence of terrorism. Interesting how they can come up with a motive or a lack thereof so quickly.

No details on what precipitated this event, no description of the perps, etc. Either the shooters are not white, MAGA-hat wearing Trump supporters, or the dead civilians in the store were killed by 'friendly fire' from the police or a combination of both, so everyone is being relatively tight-lipped until a proper narrative can be created and released to the media.

I think you’re onto something. Mass killers, caught in the act, or later caught and convicted, should be used as human Guinea pigs to test and develop “extreme” interrogation methods. Figure out what works, and how far you can push it before the subject dies in agony. Of course to find this limit we’ll have to test to the fatal point. We’ll also need to repeat experiments on multiple subjects to develop a statistical basis. Once developed we can utilize these on terrorists captured here or overseas.

Being drawn and quartered and then having your intestines pulled out and burned while still alive was practiced in England and elsewhere. That and other “cruel and unusual” punishments were not all that effective. Meanwhile, since my late father was living in Jersey City and renting to marginal people, I will follow this story with interest.
