Watched Scott Adams’ periscope about the impeachment this morning. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him more angry, and he’s not even a Republican.
“Obstruction of Congress”
Are they kidding with this sh*t? THEY have been obstructing the hell out of Trump since day one and before!!
Obstruction of Congress isn’t a thing.
Dims have obstruction of the brain. But even Ex lax won’t help.
I don’t get it. How can the Dems be so ignorant?
Obstruction of Congress in not impeachable.
The Separation of Powers requires that if Congress feels obstructed, it goes to the Judiciary for relief.
Then if Congress wins at the Supreme Court and the Executive branch fails to comply with the decision, you have obstruction of Justice. That’s what would be impeachable.
But Congress chose not to go to court. They can’t have it both ways.
Once the Senate trial begins, The Chief Justice presiding, I believe could throw out the Obstruction of Congress charge.
In any case, this will be a defining debate over impeachment and its basis fo rthe future.
We need to define impeachment to stop its use as a political attack.
I can’t imagine that obstruction of Congress would be anything hut a benefit.
