On another forum frequented by many veterans a call-sign of “porn ‘stache” is considered to be a very good call-sign. Our dead muslim failed to understand he was be complemented in an off-hand manner typical of the military.

We had a pilot who's callsign was "plax" - because while cleaning his gun he accidentally shot himself in the hand! We had another guy who's callsign was "easy" - because he was a prick.

We had ANOTHER guy who's callsign was "Skin" because his last name was "FORE."

And as has been mentioned - you DO NOT get to choose your own callsign.
