Look— everyone needs to realize— “police chiefs” and “sheriffs” are politicians, not law enforcement officers. they may once have been cops but they are now political whores. Expect nothing more than what this pathetic toadie has to offer. There are exceptions, but you have to keep a sharp eye out to spot them.
