Truth is Graham doesn’t want to investigate anything. It’s clear that he wants all this to go away quickly. As chair of the senate judiciary committee, he will do his damnedest to get it done and over with.
Correct. He points out the FIB engaged in criminal activity and advised Carter Page to "Sue the hell out of the US government". Why Cliensmith hasn't been charged by Durham already is a mystery.

Graham spells it out very well in this video. This was absolutely criminal. They doctored evidence, ignored exculpatory evidence, and used knowingly false and unverified information to spy on Page. They redacted some of the information provided to the court in order to create the implication that it contained evidence of wrongdoing when it actually covered over exculpatory evidence. They kept spying on Page and renewed the warrant 3 times, even after Page had left the campaign.
Why would they do all this? And why Carter Page of all people who was never charged with any crime?
Dan Bongino spells it out in his book as the “3-hop rule”. The FISC warrant is unique because it permits them to spy on the target, anyone the target communicated with, and anyone that 2nd person communicated with. Thus by spying on Page they were able to spy on Trump directly without actually asking for it. I suspect they chose Page because the information they did have about him could be framed and twisted in such a way to pull off their conspiracy.
What will they do about it is the good question.

So mccacniac sends his staff to go to England and obtain the dossier. Then linda advised mccaniac to take it to comey. There is the start of the russia witch hunt. linda was part of this from the beginning. linda even says he thought the dossier was legitimate and it scared him. linda is as much of a POS as the fbi/cia/doj.
Graham will hold hearings, pass some obscure modification to already obscure FISA statute claiming this will make sure unjustified snooping never happens again (this will be like the 28th time Congress has made this BS promise), he’ll express full confidence in Wray, and proclaim success for the country.
Somewhere in there we’ll see some play acting that is supposed to look like righteous indignation. Enjoy the show!
That's really bad advice, because the official finding is no that anybody's 4th amendment was violated, in fact the opposite. The finding was that the "low threshold" for justifying snooping was met. The Horowitz report cuts off the civil claim.
Horowitz report recommends a multi-tier evaluation system. The low threshold is fine except when the FBI might be snooping around a political campaign, in which case more care is required.

A part of me hopes that the reason Graham made the no witness statement yesterday was to encourage the democrats to send any impeachment over to the Senate. It seems that some Democrat congressman are talking about impeaching Trump and then not even referring it to the Senate. As long as it makes it to the Senate then Graham could allow witnesses after all.
And yet it is not hard to believe that Graham would like to cover up many wrong doings as well. And not call witnesses for that reason. That being based on the crowd he use to hang with. So my thoughts are conflicting.
