My husband went through flight school in Pensacola back in the 80s. I’m sure he and his classmates were called much worse.
It is shockingly culturally inappropriate to refer to a Saudi man as “Porn Stash”.
Appropriate forms of address would be “Camel Humper”, “Goat Humper” or “Cousin Humper”.
I have a bit of knowledge regarding the Saudi trainees —- not this crowd, in particular, but in general.
They come from the upper echelons of Saudi society. Some are very good pilots, hard working, serious people.
Most are snowflakes. Very entitled, very rich, very dismissive of anyone who is not them. They view everyone else as below them, inferior, and their servants — especially Americans, but also anyone else.
It would not surprise me if this guy was so insulted he got sudden jihad syndrome. Anytime they are even corrected they pout and act like spoiled children.
Back when it looked like Saudi and Iran might have a fight, I was asked if the Saudis could pull off a solid attack.
My reaction was mixed. They have great equipment and some very able pilots. They also have plenty of pilots like this guy and dysfunctional command structure.
