You are using a Dem standard for impeachment. (not that I’m against that) The Constitutional standard only applies to treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors committed while in office.
Once the Democrats have opened the door and weaponized impeachment, its impossible to close it.
No reason for a GOP House to show restraint when there’s a Democrat President:
Every offense is now impeachable. And Democrats can’t tell Republicans they can’t.
They’ll set the precedent. There’s still time to pull back and not go over the cliff but they don’t care.
Democrats will rue impeaching Trump.
