Are black colleges disadvantaged too?
A Democrat political strategist’s entire philosophy is: “Come up with new ways to spend money!”
That’s racist!
I am amazed after all his years of public service he has that kind of money to invest. It is his money...right?
Even that amount COULDN’T REPLACE ONE FATHER MISSING SINCE A KID’S BIRTH.
But don’t tell anyone
Even though EVERY time I used to watch Lock UP and a prisoner was singing a song they wrote..whether it was country or rock or folk or even rap, maybe especially rap, it was ALWAYS about their father missing.
IT shocked me at the time though I don’t know why.
But it’s a secret so don’t tell anyone
How many billions and billions of our tax dollars can and should we keep spending for racist purposes? And incidentally these schools have been receiving tons of money both public and private for many years already
Democrats NEVER spend their own money.
But wait Cory, I thought diversity was the trend nowadays?
Racism? You bet
HBCU’s should go the way of the Negro Baseball League. If an HBCU can’t hang as a regular college or University, then it might need to either fold or get absorbed into another university system.
I don't think that any of the current selection of critters will be involved.
Cory Booker - son of a privilege, suburban parents; but he’s black. Wants federal money for college to be based on skin color, not on need or on merit.
Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey on Tuesday proposed investing $100 billion in historically black colleges and universities and other minority-serving institutions...
Redistribution isn't investment. The real Spartacus would have chopped him up in the arena, or pretty much anywhere.
Democrat platform: “Free, free, free, racist, free!”
So basically, every HBCU gets a billion dollars.
$100 billion?
Pfffttt! What a piker!
Do I hear $1 TRILLION? going once, going twice...SOLD! Sold to the lying Indian Liawatha for $ ONE TRILLION DOLLARS!
The ones near me have always been financial basket cases. So they “fix” the problem by pumping in millions of more dollars. Everything is called A OK until 3 to 4 years later when they end up in the same financial straights or worse. So the bailouts gets repeated almost to infinity.
These schools once had a purpose when post secondary education was segregated and there were less colleges but that’s been gone for a while. I say good job at their original task but now let’s move on to the future.
I know a men who graduated from one ( SC State ) back in the 1960s. His goal working all his life was so that his kids would never have to go there. They all went to mainstream schools like Penn State.
We are way past peak Democrat demagoguery and pandering.
Piss off the other 87%? Nah, just buy them off proportionally ... offer them $800 billion.
