Meanwhile, it took only around 3 hours on the afternoon of November 22, 1963 for then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to call LBJ and let him know they had the case wrapped up and closed. JFK had been assassinated by a “lone gunman” whom the FBI already had in custody. Yeah. Right.
I spent 50 years dismissing conspiracy theories. Now I'm watching the deep state operate in the open, executing a coup against our duly-elected president, and I'm worried. Do these traitors already have their latest Lee Harvey Oswald lined up, with another Jack Ruby waiting in the wings? All of a sudden, I realize that I should have been more skeptical long ago. America is facing the other half of that traditional oath: "against all enemies, foreign and domestic". Traditions survive for a reason, and I'm late at recognizing the foundation for this one.
I wonder if the second half of that J. Edgar Hoover call was: "I'm sure you have no more questions, Mr. President; it would be a shame if something happened to you too".
