The democrats are scarred chitless about Trump appointing more USSC judges and will take any long shot, trot out any liars, and break any laws, to keep him from having a second term. Desperation coupled with stupidity ain't pretty but it's all the democrats can muster when their masters tell them they have to do something.
Worry about people not nearly as stupid and not in the public eye instead of the loud Carny Barkers like Schiff. To counter them, Trump needs extra physical security and not from anyone employed by the Federal government.

they can’t let Trump add one more SC justice. Since they have Roberts in their corner (by hook or by crook), a death of RBG and successful appointment of a Conservative justice would make Roberts irrelevant.
It is all of DC as the GOVT is full of crooks on the grease plus both houses of Congress are on the take.
