President Trump Could Stall or End the Entire Impeachment Hoax by Taking the Unconstitutional Sham to the Courts
GP ^ | December 7, 2019 | Joe Hoft

The Democrat Impeachment process is Unconstitutional:

** President has no due process ** President has no right to confront the witnesses ** President has no right to bring forward witnesses ** President has not been convicted or indicted of any crime of any kind ** Rep. Adam Schiff was a witness, investigator, the prosecutor, the judge and jury ** Rep. Nadler will take over and declare himself the lead investigator, prosecutor, the judge and jury ** Rep. Schiff determined which questions could be asked ** Rep. Schiff determined which questions could be answered ** Rep. Schiff denied Republicans their right to call witnesses ** Rep. Schiff is withholding evidence — The ICIG interview and testimony in the Capital dungeon still has not been released ** Rep. Schiff refuses to call in the alleged whistleblower to testify ** Rep. Schiff and his team met with several witnesses (including the whistleblower) before the whistleblower even filed his report ** President Trump has NO IDEA who he is being accused by! ** The whistleblower has NO firsthand knowledge of President Trump’s phone call – nor do all but one of the witnesses ** Democrats are trying to prosecute impeachment for a thought crime and the president’s “intent” — Something impossible to prove

Replace Ruth first. Otherwise I don’t trust the courts.

The courts have no role whatsoever in this business, and it is wrong to open a door they will gladly walk through.

This would be a worse mistake than filing Bush v. Gore, which was completely unnecessary and expanded the power of the USSC for no reason.

Any court should instantly reject any challenge to the current impeachment process. Yes, this current process is unfair, and a sham. But the Constitution gives the House complete control over impeachment.

So the House can define the “crime” any way it pleases. And it can set up the process any way it pleases. Like it or not, that’s what the Founders wanted. To throw the process into the courts would give a tyrant president too much power (because the president appoints judges).

I agree with you. He is a master of strategy.

He has more information than we do. In the interim, his enemies in hiding are sticking their heads up and he is picking them off.

Kind of reminds me of the movie Sargent York. He would make the turkey gobbler sound so the Germans would stick their heads up to see what the sound was. Then he would shoot them one by one until they all surrendered.

Exactly. I don't even understand where GP gets the idea.

Yes. I have been thinking that there is some grand horse trade that has been put in place in DC. To many things out of expected range. I think that Barr has been maneuvering the pieces to protect the top level and the small fish are going to get nailed.

Doesn't the SC usually say procedural arguments in the House and Senate are for them to work out themselves?

However, if problems arise that are unconstitutional it should be a different story.

They would need to start with a whopper case that they could likely win to show people it can be done. Then just keep rolling, win or lose.

Here is Trumps Quote which GP is referring to.

President Trump: Just landed in the United Kingdom, heading to London for NATO meetings tomorrow. Prior to landing I read the Republicans Report on the Impeachment Hoax. Great job! Radical Left has NO CASE. Read the Transcripts. Shouldn’t even be allowed. Can we go to Supreme Court to stop?

Yes. Impeachment is not a matter for the Courts. It is a strictly political arena by design. The rules of the Court do not apply unless the Senate says they do. There is no appeal to any higher Government authority.

And the Senate should immediately dismiss any and all impeachment charges that may be filed from the House.

Actually, no he can’t nor will he.
Showing The People the real face of the Democrat Party is what Trump wants.

There is nothing in the Constitution which prevents the House from Impeachment with a simple majority and nothing in it which allows the President to refute it other than 67% vote in the Senate.

The Senate is the checks and balance.
