We had a rowdy crew on my ship, occasionally they would bring someone up for Captain’s Mast for fighting and general mayhem, but we didn’t get too upset and want to hurt anyone.

Captain's Mast (aka "NJP") used to be a rite of passage for rowdy sailors. These days it's a career-ending ticket out of the Navy.

Uh, not rowdy but drinking underage (20) off base got me 30 days confined on the ship at captain’s mast. Of course when you’re out to sea for a couple weeks training during the 30 days makes it a little easier. I was an E-2 at the time so what did I know? Well I knew not to be drinking in the bar but NOOOOOOOO. LOL! Good times.
