Tired of winning yet?
The price of drugs is stunning. I wish they would work on that instead of increasing rights for crossdressers.
My son has to take an Imbruvica pill every day for the rest of his life. The retail price is over $160,000.00 per year.
How in the ***** can it cost that much?
“”””The cost for Imbruvica oral capsule 70 mg is around $12,613 for a supply of 28 capsules, depending on the pharmacy you visit. Prices are for cash paying customers only and are not valid with insurance plans. Imbruvica is available as a brand name drug only, a generic version is not yet available.”””””””
More winning. Americans stop subsidizing every other country in the world with high prices for Americans just do some other country can get the pharmaceuticals for virtually nothing.
Lol.
Among most drugs there is finally beginning to be a little competition at the retail level. I credit goodrx.com for much of that. Once people can find prices BEFORE buying they can be selective. Goodrx has prompted big retailers like Kroger to offer discounted membership plans. $36 a year for Kroger. For that I get an antihistamine spray that has a best price of $32 for $14. I only buy it about 5 times a year, but it covers the membership fee and more.
Sam’s Plus Membership nets an additional 20% off prescriptions. The list of stuff covered is limited, but if it hits something you use the savings are quite good. I pay $300 less a year for my heart meds for a $100 Sams membership. That’s compared to ins or cash.
northwestpharmacy.com can save a lot also depending on the drug. Their price for brand name Synthroid is killer compared to any pharmacy in the US. Saves me a huge percentage in exchange for planning a couple of weeks ahead and paying a $10 shipping fee (any number of scripts at one time for that fee)
About 2 years ago I was paying around $52 for my 3 month supply of acid reflux meds. Lately I pay a little less than $28 for the same.Thank you President Trump.
Not seeing it here. Every one of my generic drug copays have increased in 2019 and insurance next year has jumped by $800 for the two of us. Doesn’t feel at all like ‘winning’ here.
