. I don’t know what or where you last read up on this subject, but its severely out of date.

Nothing new, I’m used to it.
Just tonight my wife pointed out that my favorite salad dressing was months out of date.

Not as bad as the milk that I noticed had started to turn, yes, it too was out of date.

Oh, and rest assured things are almost NEVER, as I think they are.
Just ask my wife of many years.

Way back in the dark ages when the milkman delivered milk in bottles and I was but a youth my grandfather lived with us. I’m guessing he was in his mid 80’s to early 90’s and still had some preferences he developed when he was living in Poland. He would keep a bottle of milk on the window sill in his room and after three or four days have himself a delicious (to him) drink. I never tried it but he certainly enjoyed it.
