““Philip regrets Andrew doesn’t know how to lead a simple life,” the source told the outlet. “He thinks he’s been too extravagant.””

LOL, yes Philip, do tell us more about the “simple life”.

Perhaps he will chat up Chelsea Clinton. He can ask her about how she came to not care about money.

Philip actually knows something about the “simple life”. He was in combat as a naval officer during WWII & was destined to rise rapidly through the ranks. He reluctantly left all that behind, to marry Elizabeth (who was not yet Queen). He’s very much an old-school disciplinarian, who was notoriously tough on his male offspring. Of course, his generation of royals and high aristocrats kept mistresses as a matter of routine — marriages usually being about politics and power, rather than romantic love (although, that didn’t apply in his case). He’s probably more upset that Randy Andy was consorting with a lower-class tart than he was about the illicit sex.

Prince Phillip is probably the only one in the bunch that has lived a spartan life (relatively speaking). During WWII, he was in the British Navy. While being on a British ship was much more lavish than being an infantry man, by today's standards, they would be the pits. During WWII Phillip was very much the Naval Hero more than once.

Prince Phillip is very much non-politically correct and he is very intelligent (In his sub-lieutenant tests (required for commissioning) he scored the top grade in four out of five sections of the qualifying examination.).

He is about the only one in the bunch that I like.
